On Saturday, celebrity couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher apologized for writing character letters for Danny Masterson who was an actor at the That 70’s Show.
Masterson has gotten sentenced for charges of raping, this week. A judge of Los Angeles sentenced him to thirty years in prison for raping of two women back in the year 2003.
A video posted on the platform of Instagram showed Mila and Ashton, apologizing and saying sorry for the pain that they have caused with their character letters.
Kutcher has said that the said letters were meant for the judges to read. It was not made with the intention of undermining the various victims’ testimonies or even retraumatizing them in any sort of way.
Masterson’s family had approached Kutcher and asked him to write character letters based on the experiences that he had had with Masterson. The written letters were then posted by various digital publications and Hollywood Reporter as well.
