Novak Djokovic breaks a record in US Open semi-final. It was his 47th appearance over there in the last four stages of Glam Slam. He won over American ninth seed Taylor Fritz with 6-1, 6-4, 6-4. It was a record breaking moment.
The world’s No.1 achievement for a historic 24th Grand Slam title which is a big record in the men’s category. Djokovic was in the semi final in New York at the age of 36 for the 13th time. He made records of 12 consecutive wins one after the other against American at the US Open.
Djokovic stated
“It’s a huge opportunity every single time I step out onto the court at this age, at this stage of my life.”
He added by saying
“I don’t know how many opportunities I will get so I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I can. I’ve played so many times on this court, so many epic matches. I can’t wait for another in a few days.
