After Joe Burrow got mercifully pulled, he stood on the sideline of the Cincinnati and spectated the last five minutes of what can be deemed as an unforgettable opener of this season. While keeping his helmet on, he waited for the time to be over.
In that very minute he looked defeated and looked nothing like the highest paid NFL player that we know him to be.
The defense of Cleveland came out to be much stronger right from the start of the match. Burrow had held a career low of 82 yards which led to a loss of 24-3 to the team of Browns.
Burrow said:
“It’s one week. Obviously, not up to our standard. Not up to my standard. We have 16 more of them, so we are going to keep trucking.”
Adding to that statement he said:
“Week 1 doesn’t define anybody’s season. Obviously, not very good out there. Anybody who watched saw that. But we’ve been in this spot before and we’ve come back stronger and had a great year.”
