Bad news for the IND vs. Pak match: Heavy and non-stop rain in Colombo is going to wash out the reserve day

The Super 4 clash was initially scheduled to take place on Sunday, but due to rain, the match was shifted to a rescheduled day (Monday). Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first, but the Indian opening pair made a mockery out of the decision by scoring 121 runs in 16.4. 

Rohit made a half-century in his 50th One Day International (ODI) innings, off 42 balls, and 56 in 49 balls. He hit 6 fours and 4 sixes. Shubman Gill made a knock of 58 off 52 balls, including 10 fours and 3 sixes, as India turned the screws on the opposition.

The right-handed batsman made a knock of 37 off 37 balls. Team India is now batting at 147 for 2 in 24 overs with skipper Kohli on 8 and KL Rahul on 17.
