The second-seeded Djokovic said on the court following the win,

“To make history [in] this sport is just something truly remarkable and special, obviously, in every possible way, in every possible meaning of the word”.

His coach, Goran Ivanisevic, admitted that he didn’t do that much struggle. He believed in his accomplishment. Ivanisevic also acknowledges him as a Genius.

Ivanisevic said,

“He’s one of a kind. Not too many people in this world like him, sportwise”.

He visibly shows sentiment while lying on the court at the conclusion of the 3-hour, 16-minute match. Then he ran over to his box where his family members, his team, and actor Matthew McConaughey were cheering for him.
